How to attract pigeons in rural areas, will they drive away other birds?

ANywhere there is food and good nesting spots is sure to bring pigeons. They can "outnumber" other birds for sure. If your feeding small songbirds etc...the pigeons can take over. Your best to build a small loft and get your own birds rather than attract several flocks that will be rather messy and overwhelming. Be careful what you wish for :)
